Sader Law Firm makes sure ALL attorney fees are fully disclosed to clients and the courts, and we pride ourselves on keeping rates competitive while supplying you with responsive and efficient personalized legal services designed to achieve an outcome beneficial to your financial future.
During a free and confidential phone consultation, we work to review the full picture of your situation and provide informative feedback on potential options and associated costs. Below is a general look at initial costs, however, costs can depend on the case complexity and other factors.
Chapter 7 — Our attorneys can generally provide a flat fee estimate based off the initial phone consultation with no deadline for payment. A payment toward fees of $200 or more allows you to let creditors know you have retained Sader Law Firm as your legal representative. This generally prevents creditors from continuing to communicate with you, and your attorney is then willing to speak with any and all creditors as your legal representative. However, we will not file your case until all required fees are paid.
Chapter 13 — We now offer “No Fee Up-Front Chapter 13 Plans” with no payment toward the costs of a lawyer necessary for case filing, as long as the filer has steady employment and agrees to have direct pay to the trustee involved. While there may be other circumstances (such as multiple past filings) which may require up-front payment, it is not the typical case. Additionally, attorney fees are generally paid through the Chapter 13 Plan so that you, the client, do not directly pay the attorney. This allows clients to pay attorney fees over the life of a Chapter 13 Plan. We do request court filing fees and other required costs prior to filing. This allows us to quickly act to save your home, a car or stop a wage garnishment. Our attorney fees under Chapter 13 are charged on an hourly basis and paid through the Chapter 13 plan after receiving court approval. This way you are not paying a pre-determined flat fee based on other cases. You pay for only the work required to handle your case. The more efficient you are with providing the necessary information and following through during the case, the less your case will cost.
